Our Goal For Henry’s Acme
On March 5,1953, Acme #21 opened up inside the Wooster Hawkins Plaza. It was owned and operated by the Fred W. Albrecht Grocery Company. Due to the company downsizing, Acme 21 Closed.
Through the vision of the Fred W. Albrecht Grocery Company, a Dream and hard work of the Johnson Family, along with a community that felt a vacancy, the first franchise store was developed.
We realize that you can go to any of our competitors and buy meats,
vegetables and canned goods; therefore, we have to go above and beyond for our customers to come to our store. We must have a clean store, which takes team effort. We must have the right assortment mix on our shelves, which we acquire by listening to our customers. We must use proper pleasantries which means we should hear all over the store “May I help you”, “Thank you”, “ Come again”, “Good morning”, and “Have a nice day”. We must be helpful which means doing what we can to assist our customers while they are shopping.
Our customer is very important to our operation and as a team we have to remember no matter what we are doing, or in what station we are working, our customers come first.
