Line Dance Classes

RYGT Step instructors teach line dance classes at Mason Park every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at Mason Park Community Center.   Class activities will include step-by-step instruction of popular urban line dances, and will begin with a simple basic step to warm up.   Instructors will then go into detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do a specific dance.  Dances will be broken up into short sequences so that class participants will have a better chance of catching on and picking up the steps quickly.  Two dances per night will be taught and lessons will be repeated during each class for an entire month. Anyone having difficulties picking up the steps during the larger group sessions will be taken to the side and instructors will work with them individually or in smaller groups. Classes are open to the public and all Summa Health System employees.        There will be a discounted rate of $2.00 per class for Summa employees, student’s under 18, and seniors.   The rate for all others is $3.00 per class.
