Call to Action 2012 Young Men's Conference Call to Action 2012 Young Men's Conference Time 9:00am to 3:00pm Location University of Akron Student Center The “Call to Action” Young Men’s Conference is a FREE event for males ages 6 to adults. Parents are encouraged to attend this powerful event with their youth to discuss solutions that young black males face today centering on education, teen fatherhood, incarceration, crime/violence, and positive male role models. The ultimate goal is to empower youth to become leaders and expose them to fundamental life skills that will allow for effective decision making and upward mobility. There will be sessions for young men based on age and grade level as well as a separate session dedicated for parents only.
